Find it hard to get inks running this. Blog comments get rejected, Bloggers not willing to link, how do i get links to a sex toy shop?

I know it's really hard to promote regularly things like that

Blogs comments & Link exchange with bloggers are not only way to build links. There are many other approaches. Why cannot you go for article marketing? I mean, article submissions, content publishing on web properties 2.0 sites. Apart from that social bookmarks, Forums postings, Directory submissions, Profile links (Popular Angela & Paul methods )and etc are the ways to get more backlinks to your site and those will automatically give you traffic.

I am pretty sure that you can get massive traffic via social networks like twitter & facebook too.

I would find article directories that accept links to adult sites and write some articles for them. Blog comments work well too.
