I had an internal page ranking in page 2 of Google for the last few weeks. Today, all of a sudden, it's not ranking anywhere. I haven't changed anything on the page and haven't done anything I shouldn't. Why might it have vanished, and is it likely to reappear just as suddenly, or is there something I should do to get it back? I've never had a page vanish like this before. |

I've had that happen before. I guess Google is like that. It should come back in a few days or so. Mine did anyway and usually the ranking is higher.

I suppose that's the game you play with SEO. You get a page ranking well, find a brand new stream of steady traffic, and bam, it's shut off like a light switch because someone at Google moved a decimal point one place.

I've had a large portion of my site just go "poof" about two weeks ago. There area few more posts out there from folks that have had the same thing happen. I've been told that it's just the Google dance and that everything will even out eventually. I just know that I hate it when my site was ranking really well and now my pages are being outranked by absolute trash warez sites and stuff like that. Hang in there... |

I had the same thing happen in the past. As others said it typically shows back up. Give it sometime. Joe |

I've had 90 percent of my site disappear from the Google index. Word on the street is Google is trying to push the new infrastructure (caffeine) to their data centers without too much success so far. I'm seeing some whacky numbers at the moment.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone, and that the page should come back sometime. I worked hard to get that little sucker ranking so high! And yeah, it's annoying when you see crazy-bad sites outranking you!

It happened to me as well, and not just one time. Most of my sites came back after disappearing, but some others did not. So you can't really know what's going to happen next. Hope your site goes back up mate, and hopefully even higher. |
