Default Need advice on Wordpress website's permalinks

Hi, I have a really quick question...........I have a wordpress adsense website that only contains pages and links to articles (mine and others). I do not have a blogroll, thus I don't have categories. So my question is: For SEO, how should my permalinks look?? Be as specific as you can....thanks so much in advance.

I use %second%/%postname%. A lot of folks will say just do %postname%, but here's what it says about that on the Wordpress site...

Starting Permalinks with %postname% is strongly not recommended for performance reasons.
Hope this helps.

Marko,
But since I don't have any categories, would that make sense for me to use "/%category%/%postname%"????

Don't you have to have at least one category to even make a post or are you putting it in uncategorized?

Sounds like you're just using pages for your content. If so, then the permalink setup doesn't have much to do with anything. You're pages will have slugs, and that's all you'll need.

Signature currently down for maintenance... sorry for any inconvenience
