Doubled the queries after site acheived 2nd page in Google!!!

I have experienced since last couple of months, my sales enquiries have doubled and it has been only because my site is ranking on the second page of google for most of the keywords we had targetted.

Does this mean that people have stopped looking/researching after the 2nd page of Google ??

I know I rarely make it to page 3. Have you checked out your rankings in other search engines like Bing/MSN and Yahoo? These could also be bringing in more traffic/sales.

Over 70% of the internet's traffic is driven by the first 3 places in Google.

If you're not on the front page for the keywords your clients are looking for your website is next to useless. Cold hard facts...

But congrats on getting #2 - That's AMAZING

Exactly what Adam said.

Most people will only click the first 3 results on page 1, and even less will make it to page 2 and beyond.

Keep climbing in the rankings and you will make more and more sales.

Yes I did, and the results are really fascinating as compared to a couple of months earlier

Yes thatz what amazes me a lot that, do the investors or customers or even guys checking for some information on google don't go beyond the 3rd page ?
