Hi Guys,

If you read my other thread on EDU links, you'll know that I am big fan of EDU and Gov links.

They have long been a major part of my SEO arsenal, and Iv found that a few links from a couple of EDUs and GOVs can really boost an SEO link building campaign.

Well, I recently gave a couple free gov links to my list, and I also wanted to share the love on the SEO forum with a free Gov link with no opt-in required.

EDU vs. GOV, does GOV have more weight? Or is it the same?

And is it true that you have to index your GOV/EDU backlinks? What's the easiest way to do this?

Some people go for indexing all their links but I think it would look more natural if the links indexed themselves instead of getting a load and then indexing them all at the same time.

Another thing I notice about this PDF: It suggests you add your link in two places:

Website field.
Signature field.

That's two links on one page; I thought Google only allows you to benefit from one link per page. Wouldn't that mean you should either:

Only have one link on there to give it the weight.
Have two websites on there to disperse the weight.
