I have the following sites set up in ping fm and was wondering if anybody has had them indexed within a week (these sites are two weeks old and not indexed yet). Currently i have got sites set up with the following. Blogger Wordpress Tumblr Multiply vox typepad posterous There are 2 methods that have been recommended to me which are. 1: Link each site to one another 2: Post content to each site 30 minutes and ping it. Anybody else got any other ideas. Regards Kim |

I have gotten two of my ping.fm sites indexed recently by running the sites through bit.ly and then making a post on identi.ca with the shortened url. Give it a shot. This use to be a sure fire way to get your site indexed a few months ago. Now it is not so guaranteed.

For each ping.fm connected site that isn't indexed: (1) ping it (e.g., pingler.com) (2) submit it to digg, clipmarks and jumptags (3) submit the feed (or create a feed of it using a html 2 rss site) to millionrss, feedage, feedagg and feedburner. Tom Quote:

I set up 5 new installations of BIE the other day and only 50% of my ping.fm sites are indexed. So far, I've; - Submitted all of the RSS feeds through RSSBot and pinged them - Bookmarked them all through Bookmarking Demon - ScrapeBox blasts pointing at them - Manually Bookmarked them at Digg, Mister Wong, Del.ico.us and Reddit and bookmarked those pages through BMD and submitted those RSS feeds through RSSBot. - Submitted articles through Free Traffic System pointing back at them. And still, 50% of them are not indexed. |

@Tom - thanks, this is v insightful So, when you guys are saying "ping fm sites" you mean one of the social network sites that youre feeding content to from someplace else via ping.fm, right?@Pat: Ive heard a lot about bookmarking demon, is this similar to the functions of SENuke? And is it to be used alongside ping.fm because ive read about it in comparisons of the 2.. Thanks for taking the time to accommodate me in this conversation, i know im new |
