1st page on google 1500 uniques per month........

thanks to all the warrior threads & WSO I have read my website on anti spyware reviews is getting about 50 visits a day and it is roughly 6 weeks old,
but please help to review it and see why it has not yet made any money from adsense or affiliate sales..

That's a great start.

How many total unique views has that page gotten? and how many have clicked the affiliate links?

What i want to establish first is whether your page isnt converting (i.e. no one clicking the affiliate links) or whether the products you are promoting aren't converting.

What you should do is make the reviews more personal and user friendly. Instead of just copying and pasting technical facts. Add a picture of you perhaps and even a quick introduction as to who you are.

Good start by you but no earnings means you have common subjects or contents for visitors which is caused no earning by you. I think you have to add unique contents which make your site a reasonable source of earning.

I don't know what keywords you are targeting but here are a few pointers:

Offer value first before trying to sell anything (unless you are targeting 'buy antispyware software' obviously).

Make sure that you are laser targeting your keywords and directing people to relevant pages. There's no point ranking well for microsoft excel if you are trying to sell antispyware software, etc

People are right on adding content. You need to give value not just give a technical rundown. Find a way to relate to you visitors. Why are they looking for anti-spyware software. How can you help them? Why buy?

Is the keyword you've reached the 1st page for anti spyware reviews? It doesn't seem to have to many searches, the exact match at Google shows about 700 per month, the actual visitors you'd receive would be far less. Does your tracking program show the exact keywords being used to find your site?

I use the basic Awstats program that comes free with my host and It shows the unique visits as one number, but if you scroll to the bottom of the page you'll find the search terms that is being used to find your site. The other numbers at the top reflect the searchengine bots, image downloads, etc. I remember using a submitter once that submitted to hundreds of directories and was thrilled to see almost 500 unique hits one day until I scrolled to bottom of the page a found they were only the bots visiting and not real people.

Unique content is so important to rank at Google, I did not really pay attention on it, before, spinning article not really help much unless its 100% spinned!

I find out with one of my site, and now finally reach #11 on Google! So still working on it :-)

Was on page 1 for about 12 search terms. Not sure whats going on because now only on page 1 for about 3 terms.
