I think doing those links yourself is a lot more cost effective than outsourcing it to any service if you are on a tight budget...

I actually already subscribe to Sick Profile Maker for two months now, but I have only used it a few times.

I tried to ask about how to use a proxy with it but never came back to it.

I'm paying $13/mo for it, I guess I should use it hunh?

How do you use a proxy with it? I have TOR/Privoxy, can I just use it somehow?

+1. The funny thing is though- lot of folks looking at Pligg and social bookmark sites as - "backlinks".

Define tight - and using tools to do them yourselves until funds are there to outsource might be a good plan.

Terry Kyles and Tom Goodwins methods seem to be getting solid results.

Angelas link packs are noted to work - but are a bit more work and manual labor than others.

Rus Sells has a nifty WSO - appears most bang for buck - adsense blocks, video, 3 links per article on a very large network of sites for a one time POP.

And to poster #2 - note ... its usually considered proper etiquette to provide value first, before tossing out a giant spam post - textual neon spam sign - saying look at how great I and my service are. Im sure if the OP found your content interesting he'd notice you offers in your sig.

Why don't you do link building on your own.. It's really very easy to do it.. All you need to give is just an hour to your website.. Setup a week plan..
Mon - Write 2 articles for ezine and submit it
Tues - Submit your blog to high PR dofollow social bookmarking sites using socialmarker.com
Wed - Write an article and rewrite it 4 times and submit it to web2.0 properties creating a link wheel structure.. It might took about 2 hours
Thurs - Buy a dofollow blog list and start commenting on it..

That's it.. A complete service offered by any serviceman might took 4-5 days and quite high $$ but here you have invested just a little of your time and you have got the hell lots of quality backlinks than offered by any serviceman in this interval of time..

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I did two things,

A) I paid for Rus's link syndication WSO, the one where it grows over time, I figured this would be good since my site is only a couple weeks old and since it grows bigger over time, more bang for my buck.

B) Going to actually use Sick Profile maker since I pay for it already every month ha ha. Might as well stop wasting money it, I just haven't done much with it because I didn't want to do it wrong and mess something up (like ip ban, proxies, all that stuff I don't know much about).

So yeah, I shall get building.

I have a quick questions if you don't mind, I don't want to create a new thread to flood this forum when I can just merge it in with this so may others who search for something similar will see the answer I'm looking for as well. Anyone know of any good bots or semibots to help you with building your backlinks?

I use RSSbot, SocialBot, and ArticleBot on almost a daily basis.


For semi-automating backlink building, some people use Roboform, but I haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for your reply, I've been reading a lot lately about social bot. Could you please tell me how your experience is with it. Some people mentioned that it isn't very good because many of the sites on there are night flyers and get easily deleted. What is your experience with it. How much have it helped you with your pagerank and SERPS.

Just use the search function and look for either Rus Sells or Article Cartel. They/Rus have at least three WSO's.

You could also just hold down Control + F on your keyboard (win) and search thr WSO thread for "rus" and move to page two and keeping doing it that way.

Exactly.

Whenever a software or script offers too much advantages, lots of irresponsible people will abuse it. And the smart programmers will create something to counter it.

The worst is, many programmers team up with many website owners to start a massive ban or block. Don't think this can't happen. Such incident happened before. Because every software or script has an unique signature, and it's very easy for intelligent programmer to detect it.

Some years ago, certain 'black-hat' guys wrote something to trick the spiders. Now, this doesn't work anymore.

Btw, I just noticed a Warrior's service has been banned by many sites. It was offered in WSO before. I don't want to name it. And if anyone got it, that's bad luck for you. Just suck it up.

SEO is hard work, manual work. The most successful SEO experts that I met don't totally rely on software. They usually use it to analyze data.

And if anyone thinks that using software is the only way to do certain SEO tasks such as back link acquisition, then it's better not do it.

The Hoist Up package is the best for $60 in my opinion
