Hi guys, Is there any real increase in terms of ROI to turning on iPhones and other mobile devices in Adwords? Turning it on will undoubtedly increase traffic, but will the visitors convert as well as those who are using a desktop/laptop/netbook? Has anyone done a comprehensive split-test on this? If there are no definitive answers, I will start a test soon. I have been reading a few courses such as the PPC Classroom and they recommend turning this option off, so I have left it off at the moment. Allen Lewis |

I'll turn it on if it makes sense. A client that sells clothes I don't. Who browses their mobile device when shopping for clothes? I even tested it for the back to school period. Very, very few searches (comparatively speaking) and hardly any clicks. A taxi company however I would or any other kind of service where people need it fast and may not have access to their computer. Flood cleaning services for example. It might work for realtors. I'd create a separate campaign just for mobiles however. |
