I am in the process of building a travel website and will have 130 pages of content by the end of October. Once that is done, it's time to start article marketing... Is it wise to create an article for each and every page I've created? Or should I create maybe 30-40 articles, then go back to building my site? I follow Xfactor's theory of building a huge authority site, and want the site (rather than the articles) eventually receiving great organic listings. It is entirely monetized through Adsense. Any ideas on how to go about proper SEO for this project? |

I'll definitely add meta tags to each page, plus keywords in title, description, etc. What I'm curious about is whether I should submit an article for every page on my site, or if I should focus more on creating new pages for my site. I agree it would be nice to start backlinking today, but it's easier for me to do one thing at a time...less distractions that way. |

It may be easy but you want to do it slowly and naturally or google might bash your face in. Start building links slowly and don't forget that new sites need to keep adding new content if they want to stay on top. You'll be adding content to your site for a long time to come, and you'll be building links slowly for a long time to come, so you might as well get used to it. Also don't limit yourself to article databases for your links. Social bookmarking is a lot less time consuming than churning out new articles and can be just as beneficial.

First: Do a deep keywords search about your market Which market segment of travelling do you target? What do you want to achieve, is it a online booking, information to drive customers to your offline shop,.... this is really important Competing with 50 millions pages is not the same than competing with 1Million. So depending on your competition yo will have to fix your marketing campaign startegy. Original content is great but don't think that google will slash you in first page because you are original. You must earn the first page by doing more than the guys who seat there All the best Halille |

If you want organic listings, then you should be less focused on article marketing and more focused on building links. Article marketing is good when you are an affiliate or your site has low PR and will not recieve the same ranking an article site would with the same article. If you get more backlinks and increase your domain's PR and web recognition - then you will rise in the SERPs. Do a lot of keyword research. Make articles for your long tail keywords and the keywords you are not targetting on your main web page. |
