Hubpage ranked #8 after 9 minutes but site still not ranking

I only started this website about 4 days ago and it was showing as being indexed but now it's not even showing as indexed anymore.

So I've continued building backlinks and I've submitted it to digg, reddit, propellor and others but still not showing as indexed.

So this morning I built a hub and within 9 minutes my hubpage is ranked at number 8 in google for that keyword phrase.

I know hubpages are strong and I'm hoping the backlinks from it might get my site up and going, but that just seemed awfully quick to rank within 9 minutes and very frustrating that my website can't do the same

I am guessing the hubpage won't stay at #8 for long unless it is a very easy niche with almost no competition. Often times when new content is posted on a certain topic it will shoot right to the first page of rankings for a bit and then disappear. Since hubpages has plenty of built in authority it probably helped a lot too.

Yeah I was thinking that, although the keyword phrase was very well researched and does have very little real competition.

I just need to keep working on my site to get that ranked, if only it was as easy for the site as it is for a hubpage
