Software really only merely for quick analysis, the actual "SEO" is usually all done manually, no software. (Aside from bl@ckhat stuff like scrapebox, xrumer etc.)

Hello George, Thanks for your reply. For the onpage optimization, i understand that it can be done manually without any problem. How about the offpage part? Do you manually creating the link or using any software to help? regards |

for my main money making sites i got now VERY careful with link building, and especially using software like scrapebox. I do all this manually and prefer quality backlink over many scrappy, spam backlinks. Occasionally i outsource and let people build links for me. I wouldn't use any software for building links. But i use "clean" software like RSSBot and so forth for submitting RSS feeds, or article submitters if i want to submit many articles. Things like that. But manual is often still better. |

Hi, I also agree with GeorgR. Manual submission process is much better than using any software. |

| Manual submission in off page SEO can be slow, but you hardly get into trouble. For example, IP ban, IP block, domain ban etc etc. Unless you're using rotating anon proxy, I think you should be careful of using software to do your SEO. I'm not a SEO expert. But I recently acquired a local SEO company. I demanded the manager to stop using software unless necessary, because certain people are writing programs to kill the robots. If there's too much work, outsourcing certain easy works could help. |
