How to Increase Alexa Ranking of My Blog

As we all know, Alexa is a ranking system based on the level of traffic a website receives from people with the Alexa toolbar installed.
With my efforts, now, my online business guide blog is increasing by 370,000.
However, during the past few days, it stopped gradually...
Although I know that it is unnecessary to pay much attention to Alexa ranking, sometimes, a higher ranking can help me bargain for an better ad price. So, it is necessary for me to increase the Alexa ranking of my blog.
Could you give me some tips here? Thanks!

Well you need to drive more traffic in order to increase the Alexa rank.
There are blackhat ways to fake your alexa ranking, but that is frowned upon and illegal.

Focus on driving traffic from various sources. or capitilize on the sources that are driving the most traffic.

Fake Alexa Ranking? I don't want to fake my Alexa ranking with those inlegal ways. What I want is just to gain a "REAL" high ranking.

Well I can't help if I don't know some broad overview of what you are already doing?

My advice to you would be to focus on SEO. Rank rank rank and your traffic will rocket.

regularly put fresh content to your site and do SEO methods

- do informative blog commenting
- yahoo answers
- forum posting with sig file
- article writing
- backlinking
- try using twitter and other social networks
- social bookmark
- and last but not least get ranked high in the SERPs.

The best way how to increase Alexa ranking is by fresh content. I posted 30 posts on my blog, and I increased my ranking from 1 275 000 up to 694 000 in just 30 days. Each time I post new content my ranking climb for about 5000 - 25 000.

Start getting a ton of backlinks to your website. Article marketing is talked about, all the time on this forum.

My new goal for myself right now is to do at least five articles a day for each of my websites as well as some good forum ( not spam) posts. In 20 days I will have 100 articles per website that's a pretty large amount of backlinks just from articles.
