Clickbump brought this up in a much earlier thread, but in my keyword research I'm seeing differing results and wonder if anyone has researched the basis of Spyfu and Adwords metrics. I used the keyword tool to search out a phrase I was interested in and it looked promising. 9000 exact match searches, Over $2 estimated CPC and the highest advertiser competition. However, two things seem to contradict the latter two bits of information... A Google search for the term resulted in zero ads on the right side, and Spyfu reported N/A for the same keyword. You would think that the AdWords data would come directly from Google's own AdWords database containing advertisers bidding on a particular keyword. Thoughts? |
