Hello everybody! I’m here wondering what would be the best strategy to integrate my blog with my website. What do you guys think is the more appropriate for a SEO perspective? 1) Creating my blog inside my existing domain? For example: mydomain.com/blog 2) Or creating a new domain only for that: For example: mydomainblog.com I think that the first one would be better because of the link juice and the visibility that the existing domain already have in the search engine, but I’m not sure. Could you share your thoughts? Thank you! |

Irrelevant spammer of the day award for you. To answer the question. I always put them on the same domain: mysite.com/mykeywordfolder Then make sure you link between the blog and the rest of your site. To google its all one site one one domain. You are then driving traffic to one site rather than confusing them with multiple domains. It also allows your site to grow and gain some "hub" brownie points in time. Quote:
