Woohoo, got my site on Page 1 on Google, where next....

Hey all

Got my site onto page 1 for some keywords and looking to see where to go next. I dont seem to be getting the traffic for some reason lol. It is only 3 weeks old and maybe too overly chuffed that I got this far but am I expecting too much to have lots of uniques this soon?

Had 180 ish at close of business yesterday.

Yeah its my first one so be gentle lol. 13 you say? I have been on quite a few free backlink checker and only seen 3 at most.

13 will do for now onwards and upwards. Actually only started the whole backlink thing in last few days.

Obviously I am a newbie and I have just being doing some post reading (there was one post on the forum here that listed about 40 sites for good quality backlinks) and googling and finding goods sites to backlink from. Like I say I have only done a few, didnt think it was 13 but there you go.

Icon- You have plenty of work to do. You're likely getting a benefit of having a new site right now, with only 13 backlinks you won't be on the first page for long (sorry!)

I'd consider starting to build links now, even if it means doing the Google Dance for a while.

Check out Terry Kyle on this forum as he has a nice solution that might make it pretty easy on you.

yeah i know I have a lot of work to stay there, all part of filling my head with everything at the start is that some of it sticks in there
