Will Anyone Admit to Buying a PR8 or higher Backlink for the good of the forum?

I am debating this strategy (perhaps going straight to a webmaster if I can find a suitable site) or using backlinks.com. Has anyone ever done this and if so please tell me about the experience including the vendor and how much you paid/pay and if you recommend it?

There's no point in buying links as they are not permanent and can get removed at any time. Try investing in something more permanent instead.
