I need free social bookmarking, link directories and article submission (for one way backlinks)

I know of free url submission, but they only allow 100 of each type of url submission (which is still handy).

Are there any others that allow for a greater number of FREE submissions.

I know of social marker, but it is a slower process. I do use BookmarkWiz. It is pretty good for the social bookmarking Websites, but doesn't do the others (and isn't free). Does anyone know of any alternatives (other than paid submission services that I don't trust)?
