It can take a week or so after your first article submission for your site to be indexed. If your site has been live for two months then you might have an issue though. Have you checked that your site is open to the Search Engines spiders? If it's a wordpress site they can be built with privacy settings that block the spiders. What's the URL and we can check for you? |

Just log in at Google Webmaster Tools, and see what problems are reported for your site. You may have to authenticate your site first, etc. |

yeah i agree... it usually should be indexed within a week or so.. You could try a few things.. Go to Google Basics - Webmaster Tools Help Google webmaster central they have a lot of tips on getting your site crawled and indexed. There is a lot of great information on this site. Plus have you used meta tags... I know people say they dont do much but i still like to add a meta tag to allow search engine spiders to crawl my site... <meta name="Robots"content="all"> <meta name="Subject"content="Put the subject of your site here"> this is very basic but may help.. Plus there are plenty more tags you could use, plus other ways to optimise your pages for the engines... Just pm me if you need more help.. Tas |

Google webmaster tools can really help you to find out what problem is associated with your site. So first login over there and authenticate your site.

I think the idea as every one above has given you of registering with Google webmaster tools will help you to get your website index fast..And one more important thing is that submit the xml site map to Google webmaster tool.

It would be way easier if you had listed your domain. What you need to do is to get more dofollow high PR links pointing to your website. Once you do that you will start getting PR and the frequency of Googlebots visiting your website will increase. That increment will improve the timing in which your web pages getting indexed and cache by Search Engines.

There is no reason to put a robots meta. Google will crawl your site regardless. Google webmaster does not give you an instant free ticket. We know nothing about your site, so can't make many real judgments, just generalities. I have noticed google a little slower for new sites recently. Took me 2 weeks last time. But new pages on a site get indexed for me within minutes. New websites for me used to get indexed the same day. However, if there is something about your site that google does not like, who knows? Remember, we know nothing about you or your site. That 4K backlink thing, as you have seen, was not worth it. If those 4K links are from linkfarms and other such rot, you need to really change your tune. Getting a ton of backlinks is not the answer. Paul |

Put the url in quotes and do a search. If it is a unique, not published elsewhere, you can search for a snippet as well. Paul |
