Default Is anybody else having problems with reduced income?

I have seen a steady decine in my adsense revenue, even though my traffic is the same or even better.

Can this be because 'Adbloker" has become the most popular download at Firefox? If so is there a strategy that can be used to over come this thing?

I appologise if this has been covered already, I did a search but this didn't seem to come up.

I think part of what you are seeing is a regular seasonal slow down this time of year. Rest assured, it will pick back up!

I hope so, but the revenue, small as it is, has dropped by 75% which is really worrying.

Adsense is down for me this month, too - but looking back at the last couple of years it's been the same this time of year.

There are seasonal fluctuations in an online business. If anything, I would expect them to be more visible this year simply due to spring days after a very harsh winter in large parts of the country.

That may sound silly but I think there is a coorelation as I've seen it yearly. Things are also a bit slower every summer and seem to go back to normal in the fall.

Find an alternate means of generating revenue with your site.

Not silly at all.

I can't speak for everyone but my sales always dip during the summer and peak during the winter. Less people are sitting at home surfing when the weather is good.

Could make for a strong argument for developing seasonal websites. I would assume that vacation and outdoor activity sites would see an increase in traffic during the summer months.

Start targeting those 'lose 10lbs by summer' and 'best summer vacation' keywords.

You need to anticipate trends, don't wait until April to build your summer related websites. Get them up and running when the snow is 2 feet deep and give them a chance to establish stable rankings before the summer rush happens. You'll already hold the top spots when every other IMer jumps on the bandwagon. So... start working on your fall and winter sites now.

Synthesize me, And reboot, I need to start again, I need to make it different
