I've had my blog for about a year and 2 months now. Up until 2 weeks ago, the highest amount of search engine traffic I ever got was 72. On average it was about 40-50 a day. The last two weeks, I have been averaging about 75 visitors a day from the search engines... Just wondering if anyone has any theories as to why I have gotten this steady and consistent (knock on wood) boost? Did my home page get bumped up in PR behind the scenes or something (It has been a PR 3 for a while). |

Updates, unique content = link baits/magnets You won't think of it, but probably people are linking to your awesome content, thus creating backlinks on autopilot. Those backlinks are recommended by your readers to their friends, that's why the increase in traffic. There could be more theories, but this is a fact. Ed |
