Help - My Hubpages "Hubs" Disappeared from Google's Search Results for No Apparent Reason!

Hi,
I have no idea why my hubs disappeared from the search results.

A few days ago I've created a few hubs, bookmarked them, created 3stepads posts linking to each one of them, submitted their RSS feeds and pinged them all.
They got indexed and Google ranked them on the 4th and 5th pages.

However, a few hours later when I created additional backlinks to them from web 2.0 sites like Goarticles and Quizilla using spinned articles, they suddenly disappeared and now they are nowhere to be found in Google for the keywords I'm targeting (they are still indexed but do not show up on the first 1000 results).

It has been like this for about two days now.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this could have happened?
Did I build the additional backlinks too fast?
Did the fact that I used spinned articles could have affected Google to not show my hubs?

Any help is more than welcome!
