| I believe 3 blocks + 3 lists (or whatever Google calls those things). I never use more than 1 block and 1 list so its not really my thing. In any event, I bet you could do a google search for the adsense tos and get the answer in about 60 secs. |

If you are using an adsense plugin in wordpress and you put the adsense tag throughout the 9 posts on one long page that can be 9 or more adsense units and 1 or two in the side bar, but this multible adsense units may fall under per content unit in which case would be one or two per post, but you still acheived up to 11 units or so on that page. I have about 5 horizontal units plus a vertical tower in the sidebar in one page that's 6 for that page. |

The first 3 would show, the rest would not. Here's a little tip that some of you may not know. The 3+3 rule is only for content pages. If you have rss set up for your blog, especially blogspot, you can show an ad unit after each post. That's right, you can have dozens on it. This amazes and scares people when they first see it. But google says it is okay, and they may resize the ads or cut some off if it becomes a problem. If you have a blogspot blog and an adsense account, you can see it first hand. Go to your blog dashboard, monetize for rss feeds. You then choose where you want the ads to appear. Choose after each post. Then view your rss feed using the atom link at the bottom of your blog. (that is, feedburner) Voila! You will see ads under every post you have made. First time I saw mine it had 30+ ads. I have been thinking of doing a redirect to my rss feed on feedburner. Oh and mobile websites allow only one ad block. Each of these can be set up using your Get Ads in adsense. Remember, they are different TOS and code than content ads. Paul | |
