Hey Guys ,

There is something weired and strange with me

I have done link wheel for 2 months now

So I have some good news and some bad news

First the bright side
1- it gives power as it gave one of my recently born website pagerank 2
only after 20 days of wheeling

2- It Showed my site in some competitive keywords in the first page of google results 1-5 & Sometimes results 6-10

3- It gave me on webalizer 200-300 Unique Visitor per day


The Bad news is
1- Although it showed my site in google first page it webalizer did not give me any clicks through those keywords which according to Google Keyword Tool , It has searches every month


2- That's Okay so I thought may be webalizer does not count the traffic from search well "That`s why I plugged Google Analytics" But It gave me something very weird 12 Unique visitor a day for the same day that webalizer giving me 225 Unique Visitor



So I though that there must be something wrong , Do you have any ideas what is it ?

I'm not sure what "webalizer" is? Tracking software maybe?

I think webalizer also includes bots and other things that come to your page in their stats. Google analytics would be more representative or actual human visitors.

^^Yup.

If you are using WordPress get the "StatPress" plugin. Also, Google Analytics is definitely showing you the true unique visitor numbers.

What's it got to do with link wheels though?

Yes you must distinguish between spider, bots etc. and human visitors. There is a great WP plugin call Wassup that gives you many more meticrs and filters regarding traffic to your site.........you should check it out

Okay I agree with you 100%
So now the question is

I have used Link wheel to show me up first page of Google for many competitive keywords.

and I showed up , an any one any idea why no one visit my sites through Google?

May be the meta description does not show the catchy data ?
may headlines or posts topics are not attractive enough ?

I use Google analytics and I think many uses as it is quite authentic and provides correct data. I don't know about webalizer so I shouldn't make any comment. Anyway, here you're asking a very good and challenging question. I think you need to analyze visitors performance in Google analytics for few days more and then check your site, content...data...design, meta description etc. I think you can find out the root of the problem.

Just to make sure: are you checking the Google results while logged out?
Otherwise it will show you the personalized results for YOU, which won't be the same for other people. You can also try scroogle.org to verify the results.

Otherwise: yes, it could be the description. A good question to ask is always: 'Would you click on your listing if you were searching for your keyword?'

It seems that I lose a lot not being here for years

I did all of the above recommendations
like : log out and check , check from different computers different IPs

Do you know what makes me confused is that sometimes we take 7 out of 10 results

Really Link wheel outrank your competition

and the statistics of ezinearticles shows that our posts were visited more than 7 times a month although our site we above or under in serps it showed nothing for the same keywords some times or many times not even a single click for the same keyword .


I think may be the reason is
1- the headlines were not attractive as much as it requires
2- the clicks got distributed on the properties

but may this lead to no clicks at all ?

Okay I trust in google analytics , This is not the issue here


I shoe in google first page for many terms
that have a monthly searches between
200-3000 search per month


and i get 10 -20 Unique visit a day



ezine articles is one of my properties I got ranked with my articles there for the same keywords too

but ezine articles shows 200-300 unique visit perday
and my site show 10-20 visit a day



Do you think what I am thinking about now ?

May be I need to get more authenticated articles , titles , meta descriptions .

What properties are getting on page one?
It's really common that you get your wheels on page one and they don't convert well and pass the traffic to your money site.

So there could be a lot going on. You need your money site high on page one to get much traffic. If your wheel sites are low on page one, the could get a fraction of the traffic for the keyword. Then if they don't convert well, they're only sending a fraction of the fraction to your money site.

The whole chain has to work, or it has to be very big to get you lots of traffic.
