My advice is this:

First make sure you have submitted your blog url to the main search engines - google, yahoo etc

Next - post, post, post as much as you can to your blog. Make sure your new posts are content relevant to the blog title.

Post as much as you can to forums such as WF - which is easily the best. Again make sure your posts are relevant and helpful.

Write some brief articles (min 250 words) about your blog subject matter and submit to Enzine Articles. Write as many as you can. Tipyou don't have to be a genius writer! Just right from the heart.

Over time, your new posts and articles will create back-links to your blog and hopefully give some first page listings on google.

This is not an instant fix - but over time I promise the strategy works.

There are a lot of things you can do. Make sure you have an RSS feed for your blog, use social media, solicit backlinks, optimize the blog for search engines are all solid starting points.

there are so many ways to send traffic to your site , for me articles marketing has help me a lot , write quality articles and summit to article directory . do a search on Google and you will see many article directory to work with

You could prehaps use twitter to get some extra traffic and add it to Digg.

The easiest way by far to send traffic to your website is to find message boards (whether they are nofollow or not) and start making posts. Put your keyword in the signature. If you are truly at a forum at your niche you'd be surprised how many visits you would get. At one point I had well over 3000 monthly visits come from ONE message board that I rarely posted at -- all because it was the same niche.

Why not try this:

Find bunch of long tail keywords with 300 searches / month and start writing keyword optimized post for each long tail keywords.

1 post would get you 2 ~3 visitors a day, how many visitors do you reckon you'll get over a period of 3 months? Thousands!!

You don't need a lot of link juice to rank for those long tail keywords, at the same time, try some link building work to your homepage and categories, your blog will get traffic a lot faster!

This is the easiest way to get no-brainer traffic.

Article marketing for starters is a good way to go.
Make sure you write good solid content on your blog and then search for other blogs in your niche and make relevant posts with your link in your signature

One of the easiest ways is to join a tribe. When you're involved in a tribe you guys basically will be syndicating each others content on a daily basis. This has been a strategy that I used and have gotten great results. One that I recommend is TSA and you can find it on Facebook.
