| Chitika was awesome, especially with the new Chitika Select, until my main Chitika earning domains became disapproved, after they had previously been approved. See My Stats: http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/3294/chitikalow.jpg Just so you're aware, my domains discuss acne and news, and do not have any illegal or copied content. All of my content is 110% unique. I realize Chitika is trying to create a better environment for their advertisers, but disapproving hundreds if not thousands of domains for no reason at all, isn't the way to go about doing things. Although Chitika isn't my main earner by any means, (I make $500.00 per month on average, and Chitika amounts for $30 - $50.) It would still be nice to get a WARNING beforehand. Anyone else see a drop in their Chitika Stats? |

Yep. Same thing happened to me last night. No warning. I called them this morning. They're putting all the domains except for a hand-picked few, apparently, through an even STRICTER approval process than the TWO approval processes all of my domains have been through already. Oh, it's also going to take approximately two months to go through this particular approval process. And very few domains will actually make it through. So, basically, unless you're one of their power publishers, bye bye Chitika. Thanks for sending me a freaking email. Way to respect your publishers. |

The same thing suddenly happened for me as well. I use Chitika on 2 large forums only. They are listed as "Pending Further Review" "If your domain is listed as "Pending Further Review", this is because your domain no longer qualifies for Chitika | Premium. However, while it is under review, we will still show ads for a small amount of impressions" "With the launch of Chitika | Select, we have brought on more high-quality advertising partners, and every domain that runs Chitika ads needs to be reviewed to ensure that it meets the quality standards set by these new advertisers" |

Folks, Chitika has a history of being a fraudulent network. Apparently, the posts on this thread are by those new to this terrible company - and not from those who already learned when Chitika first came out years ago. I had an opportunity to speak with a representative of the company about the fraud problems, and he admitted it was originally run out of a garage, although he did say they were trying to improve things. Of course, there's a gazillion web references to chitika fraud, scam, etc. Sound like nothing is new here. |

For those of you using Chitika as your main source of income, you have two quick options, that I am aware of:
would be your best bet, but Infolinks is actually surprisingly good. Anyone know of anything else that can run along with AdSense, besides Chitika? |

Was experimenting with Chitika and generally surpsided by the earnings (even received a nice payment from them) but like the OP I also saw them stop running ads on my main site which then jacked everything up. Still, no real loss as I (and I'm sure everyone else can also) plan to replace their ads with higher paying ads from actual products that either I own or am an affiliate for. At some point all of these networks will end up completely alienating their true work force (income generators) and realize what a mistake it was for them at which point I won't give a darn...lol Respectfully, Tim |

I' ve also met the same problem. Chitika suspended my domain without any message. After seven days, I just found it's a big problem because of no any revenue from chitika. Impressions almost came down to zero. So rude! Until now I have no idea why this happened. However, Chitika's service completely put the responsibility on to their advertisers. |
