Hello, Can you trust Traffic Travis with SEo Analysis? I mean for some keywords it says "relatively easy" but with the quotes "" theres more then half a million competitors.. Any suggestions would be highly appriateed. Thank you in advance..

I've heard it's pretty reliable, but since I'm Market Samurai fan I can't say for sure. I guess they calculate the factor on SEO competition just like MS does but instead of showing it in numbers they do it more "user friendly".

I use it to verify / cross check results from Micro Niche Finder. If they both tell the same story I feel better about moving forward in that niche. JB |

So if it says "relatively easy" that means I'll be able to rank for that keyword? I've got one of my sites ranking for medium difficulty.. so I'm just wondering.. thanks people..

You should be cross-checking your search volumes particularly, so that when GKT shows you 8800 searches per month you don't dump a lot of resources only to find Wordtracker or SEOBook show the same phrase at 1000/month. If you're going to use calculated formulas to determine whether or not to go after a niche or keyword phrase, check more than one. bfas

For example site with 10000000000 competitors is not easy for you, but for someone who has big network of sites and know SEO it is easy. Also it's not just about number of sites that have the same keyword(s) but also with how old are those sites, how many backlinks they have, quality of those backlinks and content on sites...etc...

The number of competitors is really not that meaningful. You have to look at the strength of those sites. If all those sites were on brand new domain with 0 backlinks it would be pretty easy to get to #1. I'm not sure if Traffic Travis takes those things into consideration. Here's a great post on evaluating your strength of competition: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...u-can-win.html Lee |
