Default Rewriting Articles For Backlinks?

I just began article marketing, using it has half of my link building efforts.

I was curious: If I submit an article to eZine, then completely re-write it,
and submit it to GoArticles, would the strategy be effective?

Rewriting: Not just changing a few words, but completely rewriting the post,
and still getting the same point across.

Expert opinions are definitely appreciated.
I've been in the game since 2008.
Just looking to add to my efforts.
Currently using Paul and Angela's backlinks with big success.
Just looking to add to my success.

You don't even need to do a complete rewrite, and it'll help get links from goarticles and their users. If you are doing a complete rewrite, you could also submit it to many of the smaller article directories.

Various percentages (like 30%) get thrown around as far as how unique the articles should be.

Not saying it's the only way to go but I post my articles to my OWN site/blog/money page first, ping it, social bookmark it etc and then Ezine and then Go Articles and all the rest.

I've tried submitting the exact same article, minor rewrites, major rewrites, spun articles and it all works fine although I do find Ezine delivers the most traffic so I usually give it a unique (or close to it) copy of each article.

Thanks, Mike.

Just basically looking to be smart and lazy. I think that re-writing the article
using two computer monitors is probably the easiest way to go.

Submitting duplicates is a definite no-go. The positive thing about the
re-write is the fact that you don't have to do much thinking as you write,
because it's already been written.
