Default Question: Using Blog Posts as Articles on Directories..

I'm pretty new to the SEO game, but am trying to get some traffic to my blog and site. I've been posting keyword specific blogs daily for about a month. However, these blogs are written in an article style, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to post them to ezinearticles too?

I don't want to hurt my rankings due to duplicate content and I don't want to waste time posting to ezinearticles if it's a bad idea.

If anyone can help me out with an answer, I'd appreciate. The more detailed, the better as I'm trying to learn as much as I can.

Yes, you can use them but it's not a very good idea to copy them straight to the directories as is. Just rewrite a few of them to post elsewhere. It will be a lot faster/easier than writing completely new articles and they will still be original if you rewrite them well enough.

If you are going to dual purpose them, submit them to ezinearticle first, as they don't like dupe content.

As Trent recommends, I'd post the original on the blog, then do a rewrite and put it on ezinearticles. You have to do a pretty good rewrite though as they seem to lighter ones.

My method is to write a keyword targeted article for my site, then a realted artciel article for ezinearticles with my keyword links in the footer.

So my keyword article might be something like Florida Vacation Package and my general article would be Vacation Packing Tips. Twice as much writing, I know, but all original that way.

I make $2,000 - $3,000 a month and YOU CAN TOO
