2) Use article marketing and you can even spin your articles before you submit them so you can use the same article multiple times without your site being penalized for duplicate content

These sites are used to ping your updated blogs or articles. They get the word out there's others also but I use these.

There is one application named IBP if any one of you are familiar with. I prefer to use this application for my complete SEO strategies. The application is not free but I think to gain something we have to give something.

These are very basic things which one mustn't avoid while doing seo for any site. But that does not means that they will make your keywords rank on the first page of the search engines.
There are still a lot more things like url structure, site navigation, sitemap status, backlink building etc. are very important for a website to perform better in the search engine rankings.

After you have submitted your RSS feed, how long should you wait before submitting it again?

Or, is there any benefit to re-submitting a feed, once it has been submitted?

I don't mean "mashing" feeds or "pipes" or anything like that, just the same feed re-submitted at a later point in time to my list of aggs.

Some good tips here. I personally feel that search engine submission is obsolete. If you create a decent website and get some inbound links you ARE going to be indexed. I haven't submitted any sites to search engine for along time and have not had any problems.

Granted some search engines take longer to index you, but google is fairly good at doing it in a timely manner in my experience.

i started using folkd social bookmarking. i recommend it to everyone. it is a must have and use hub pages website grader to keeps things in line.

definitely use googles keyword tool and start a blog using all the keywords in your niche as categories and page titles and kw, stay very focused...google is looking to see if you are using those words so they know if you are relevant to the topic at hand.

The only thing I would say differently to most of the replies here, is that if you do your keyword research well enough - and create lots of valuable content (which will also therefore become great linkbait) , do your keyword mapping properly so you know exactly which page is focussing on which search term(s), you shouldn't have to focus so much on backlinking....

Which is good - because many of the backlinking methods most people use (and have been mentioned here) are either completely pointless & a waste of time, or are becoming so with recent changes from Google.

Backlinking is boring, time consuming, and if it doesn't have the effect you're hoping (most backlinking doesn't) then it adds no value at all to your website. Yet - if you instead focus more heavily on increasing the value of your website, and you're focusing on the right search terms, then you'll get a return much quicker this way - and you'll get backlinks naturally (which tend to have a lot more weight with Google) , and all of your efforts will add real value to your website, and produce tangible results, i.e. more content, more page views per visit, a better impression on your visitors.
