Finding Affiliates to Sell Ad Inventory

What is the best way or places to find affiliates to sell ad space on your site for a really good commission? I am currently trying to fill the inventory on our website that has good traffic and a good niche, and we have a great deal going on. I just don't want to do all of the work myself, and would like to find affiliates and sales reps to help fill the spaces. Since this is an individual site and more direct sales, I just need a handful of people and Affiliate Networks would not be the way to go for it. I also don't like Ad networks because they often take too much commission and are not active in getting advertisers, they just list it on their database etc. I need people who will actively contact prospective advertisers in my niche and offer them the deals.
