Default Monthly Search vs. Competition Filter

Where can I find a keyword research tool which allows me to filter results based on the ratio between competition and monthly search.

I've been learning Market Samurai lately but I couldn't find this ratio on this program. It pretty much has everything else but this filter.

Example:

A = Competition = 30,000
B = Monthly search of a given keyword = 10,000

Ratio = 3 to 1

Any tools that would allow me to specify and filter what kind of ratio I want to show up on the screen?

I would recommend going to Targeted Internet Marketing - Noble Samurai. I think it is a fantastic all around tool and you will find others here that give it praise. In fact, go to their "Dojo" or learning center to get all the details. Excellent tool!

My mistake, I see you've already used Market Samurai. But to answer your question, you can make those exact settings in their tool so that it pulls only those keywords that meet that criteria.

The ratio setting filter that I refer to in the OP is not on their tool. All they have are the daily searches and the total competitors. There is no tool that relates the two specifically. Only ones that relate them to others but not with each other.

KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index) = Search Volume / Number of Search Results. Any reason you want to calculate it the other way around?

This SEOmoz tool is popular but not free. Keyword Discovery is another paid one, but has a free trial.

Save the data as CSV and make all the filters you want in Excel, for free

You mean manually collect the total number of search result for each keyword? I'd rather buy a tool to do that!

Just to clarify. Is that MONTHLY search volume/number of search results...or...is that....DAILY search volume/number of search results?

Market Samurai and Google's Keyword Tools export the data natively in CSV. It takes 2 seconds.
