Nobody can tell you that without knowing a lot more information. It depends on how strong the sites above you are. I'd say in general if you can get to #13 then a few more good backlinks will push you into the top 10 but getting up to the top 3 will be more difficult.

It's an eCommerce site that sells a tangible product. My guess is it's going to get really, really tough at this point.

It will depends in your competition. But as you get nearer to the top it is getting much harder than going to the first page of search result.

As has been mentioned you need to look at your competition.

Try putting their sites into Yahoo site explorer to see what sort of backlinks they have and compare them to your own.

If there is not that much difference in number then you need to look at the quality of the backlinks.

If you havent done so already get your site listed in some directories, dmoz is great but can be hard to get into. Although you have to pay for it the Yahoo directory is well worth getting listed in

keep building backlinks--forum posting, blog commenting, article writing, directory submission, social bookmarking
keep adding quality content to your site--Post per day or a couple per week, good keyword research and on page SEO with each post, add images and internal links to your site.

What I have seen is biggest push when you are on page 2 is .edu, .gov links, profile links, link wheels, blog comments on news sites with high page rank.
