Default Affliate Links & SEO

Hi.

Does having affliate links effect SERP negatively in any way?

Thanks.

Jim.

Nope. Having affiliate links is fine.

What Google frowns on is when you use the same content as the 304 other affiliates promoting the product. Try to find some value add for the product your selling, like maybe provide a product tutorial or something.

Also, Google suggest's applying no follow attributes to affiliate links.

Follow these two simple rules and you will be in Daddy G's good graces.
