Hi Friends, I have been sifting through the forum for quite a while looking at various threads on how to monetize your website. My question ia how many page impression a day one needs to make a reasonable money from adsense or other CPM programs? Thanks |

It's more complicated than that. Much depends on where you put your Adsense ads on the page and how closely you blend the ads in with the rest of your content (so they don't look so obviously like ads). I have some sites getting very few page impressions every day that make pretty good money because the click-through rate is high. What I'm saying is that page impressions are about traffic, but how you set up your ads is about converting that traffic into money for you. Pay more attention to conversions and only THEN worry about getting more impressions (traffic). John |

As they say in another comment is very relative, for example a very important factor ees the niche to which this focus a website. But I guess, with about 25 000 daily impressions (recorded by ad sense) could get about 1000 u $ s |

You can make real money with very little traffic. I have some blogs that get 30 visitors per day and converts at 25%.

Instead of seeing 100 different answers, lets keep things simple: the more the better

| Ok, why mention the importance of the niche, because a click on a site of mortgage broker can give 1.2 or 3 $ s in games for a example per click 0.01 or 0.05 that's an important difference. |

As mentioned above, it really depends on the nice you're involved in. Some of my websites get around 50 impressions per day and they average around 8 to 10 Euroes daily. |

Assuming a 10% click-through, a lower end figure for Adsense is about; 100 impressions =$5 An average figure is about; 100 impressions = $10 Of course it varies from niche to niche, season to season, account to account etc. But if you want some figures to play with, the above are pretty good in my opinion. | |

The Niche is very important, even more so than the CTR and impressions. I have one particular site that receives approximately 3000 impressions per day with a CTR of betweem 3-5% but doesn't make buku bucks because they only receive $.05 to .15 per click. Other sites receive a tenth of the impressions with similar CTR and make more because they earn anywhere from $1 to $5 each click. Hope this makes sense. Whenever I consider doing a site for adsense, I always check on the Advertiser Competitiveness and Cost Per Click.
