What is the point in icreasing PPC Bids?

Hi,

I always get suggestions from ADWORDS to increase my bids but I still receiving traffic from them, and some conversions...

If I increase my CPC will my conversion rate increase in comparision with my old bid...

What I mean is that currently my conversion rat is 8% would that percentage increase???

If you increase your CPC you will get a higher Ad Placement.. Thus more clicks... If you're converting at 8%, why not test out some more traffic?

There's 2 ways to look at it...

1. Tell Google you want #1 position at ANY cost.. take the $ hit but grab a super high CTR, which should increase your quality scores. Wait a few days and lower your prices, sometimes Google will still let you have the #1 spot for almost 50% less CPC.

2. Ease your bids up and see how you change position. If you don't have a lot of money to test, I recommend easing into it. Just see how Google responds, but Don't listen to what they recommend... Because they aren't too good at saving you money.

The budget that I have per month to do adwords is $500 dollars per month is that enough to test, or for the number one spot?

Should I tried with many keywords or just some keywords?

I would try with your highest converting keywords... If you don't have tracking... Well... Get it.

conversion rate will not increase you only have to increase your bid to spend more to recieve even more traffic. if you thing you can affoard more traffic with a higher bit with the same conversion rate then you should give it a try
