I have Statcounter on some pages, I like it. But I keep reading about Google Analytics. I want to be able to tell if a person who hits my page is from Adwords PPC or organic search. On my Godaddy Website Tonight, the only place I see to add the Google script code is in the javascript input box. Which puts it just above the ending </body> tag. Which is where my Statcounter script code resides. Google told me to install their script just after the opening <body> tag but Godaddy instructed me to put it in the javascript part, which is, as I said, right before the ending </body> tag. So, if I put Google's script at the end there, right before the Statcounter code, will it work? |

(By the way, Website Tonight is an archaic thingie. I believe it uses frames and is therefore not SEO friendly. My own host, equally cheap if not cheaper, provides RVSiteBuilder for free, which also has lots of templates and is very easy to use. I sometimes need to build quickie sites, but I also SEO them, which is why I don't use Godaddy's hosting.) | |
