Hello Warriors.... I have recently begun a backlinking campaign for my squeeze page, found HERE. I have been doing blog commenting, pinging, social bookmarking, creating web 2.0 properties, and submitting articles to ezine to build quality links. Now, after about a week, my site has been indexed, and I had just gotten Angela's backlink packet. I know this packet is very popular and high quality....but could I use the links in this packet ONLY to get my squeeze page moving up the ranks?? The competition in the top spots of google for my keyword are very beatable, with low amounts of links. So, again, the question is: do people ONLY use these link packets with success, or do you still recommend I follow my other methods of building links? |

I mostly don't depends on the packets only, there are tons of ways to build your off page SEO including what you've mentioned on top (Blog commenting, social bookmarking, web 2.0 etc2.). Quote:

| If all you use is Angelas backlink packets the majority of the links wont stick for long term. Keep going with your current strategy and maybe create RSS feeds out of your backlinks and submit those to RSS directories. Also, don’t forget about how powerful Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter can be for driving traffic and backlinks. Google really likes links from social media websites. |

I agree with above posters. Packets can only be viewed as a supplement. Keep doing your blog commenting, guest blogging, micro-blogging, social bookmarking, press releases, article writing, etc, etc. Maybe your keyword is not super competitive now but it will be. By doing all of the above, even though you may not have to, it will pay off in the long run by deeply entrenching you in the SERPS and making you tough to out-compete.

Thank you guys for your responses, all have been very helpful. I am going to continue to build plenty of inbound links manually and then supplement with the backlink package. |
