SEO Question: What would fellow SEO experts and warriors do?

hellooooo fellow warriors on this awesome sunny day...(apart from scotland which is a lil dull..so i dont know why i said that haha)

anyway i had a question for all fellow seo marketers and experts...and some wisdom and what you all do

basically ive ranked number 1 on google for a good profitable clickbank product.

my domain is like this

keywordreview.com and i rank for the 'keyword' no problem

however I now want to rank for a search term thats popular wiv the product which is - 'keyword scam'

so i did this to my domain and created a subpage

keywordreview.com/keyword-scam

but what would everyone say i do to get that page to pop up in the SEARCH ENGINES!

should i build backlinks with the anchor text ' keyword scam' to

a) keywordreview.com
or
b)keywordreview.com/keyword-scam

oh and what i was mean't to say...what do i do to pop up for the query 'keyword scam' ..just to clarify

would it be wise the search engine auto picks up the deep inner page without building backlinks to it direct?...and get a possible '2 tier' search result...?

..do you think this can also help to get double page results on searches...or any other warriors agree?

do competitive back link analysis on the top ranking competitors, create a stronger backlink profile and make sure you link to your homepage with the targeted homepage anchor text ( not the one your trying to optimize for )

To get a double listing, you basically need to get both of them ranking in the top10. I suggest you build links to keyword scam first(since it would be easier to get this optimised page into the top 10 for keyword scam), and once you can get it in the top10, you start building links to the main domain to see if you can get that too in the top 10, resulting in a double listing.

From seo point of view

I advise you to optimize home page. Because

1. It has pagerank.
2. It has trust rank.
3. It has authority.

If you optimize keyword scam for home page Not only you can rank it easily but also it will strengthen the position of the other phrases. in your case keyword.

You can rank home page easily as compared to new sub-page. If you optimize keyword scam for new sub-page, you are working from scratch.

Don't just build links to your internal page using "keyword scam". Build links using that anchor text to your main page too. Your main page play a big role in giving link juice to your internal pages.
