Default Yahoo / Bing Discriminate Against Adsense Sites?

Hi.

All my traffic seems to be coming from Google. Does yahoo and bing not rank MFA sites as its against their interests or do they not favour article based sites? (Even taking into account only a minimlal search is done on bing and yahoo).

Thanks.

the reason you getting more traffic from google than yahoo and bing is just because more internet user are using google as their search engine, this is happen to most of the webmaster.

The best rankings for my medical sites (filled with adsense) are on Bing and Y! So no, IMO, they do not discriminate.

You have to pay to have your site crawled by Yahoo; the current rate is $299.00.

And as far as MFA sites go, they are against the Adsense TOS. If your site is a MFA, don't be surprised if your account eventually gets shutdown without notice.

I'm a humorous guy, but this is no joke!

This is directly from Yahoo...

Getting answers fast is important to your business. With Yahoo! Directory Submit, your request to be listed in the Directory will be reviewed and the Yahoo! editorial team will respond to you within 7 business days, for a review fee of only $299 ($600 for adult sites). If your listing is accepted into the Directory, there will be a $299 recurring annual fee in subsequent years ($600 for adult sites) to maintain the listing. Learn more
It sucks but it is what it is.

You can try back door methods and if you have some that gets all of your URLs crawled and accounted for in their directory, I'd like to know about it!

You can submit to Yahoo Directory for free. The $299 fee is to be evaluated within 7 days, I believe. The free method guarantees no evaluation, but they will evaluate if they get around to it.

Having Yahoo crawl your pages has nothing to do with their directory.

Yahoo Directory =/= Yahoo search listings. Two separate things.

I am now taking on full-time SEO clients. PM me for more information.

Not considering adsense here, as some of mine do quite well
across the board.

But here's a newsflash. Bing, yahoo, google, gaggle, whatever,
all discriminate. They have to. Or else one search engine would
be the same. They are not. Never will be, until yahoo/bing toss
in the towel and decide to pull results from google.

Remember, not only does google own the search market for
content, they have obliterated everyone on the planet for
video as well. Okay. That was a tad off topic. Sorry. But it
points out the truly Himalayan climb the others have. So,
discriminate? They have to. They need a different product.
But truly good, reputable sites will appear across the board.

The irritating thing is to get to #1 on yahoo and not even indexed
on google. That is my bane of existent for one site. And it is an
adsense site. Guess that blows the myth.

My AdSense sites usually rank well in Yahoo straight away. Y! (and Bing) seem to like article backlinks more than Google, at least in my experience. My sites do eventually rank in Google, but it takes longer. Try adding sitemaps to Yahoo and you might be suprised
