I'm sure many people post their thread on here expecting a response to increase their knowledge. So essentially they are looking for a benefit to the use of this forums. However on the contrary you can still benefit if someone doesn't reply to your post in my humble opinion! Please correct me if I'm wrong but if you don't get a response to your post or get your topic on fire then that means your outbound links are lesser I'd estimate maybe a limit of 10? Isn't that better for your SEO and backlinks effort? So either ways whether you get a response to your post or whether it just dies off you still benefit! That's what I like about forums. Like many others I use to underestimate the value of forums until I started receiving tons of traffic to my Freebie from forums as well as my rankings for the keyword I was targeting started to boost to front page. Forums are an amazing avenue for free traffic and links/exposure; If you are adding quality posts and information to discussions it helps you and your website drastically. If implemented properly you can get a lot just by forum posting as many of us know. |

lol there are plenty of other forums out there that are garbage if you want to use it strictly for seo and backlinking. this is one of the few forums that you can actually learn something from reading other people's posts.

If your visitors will leave a comment on your site then most probably it is much better but if they won't then it will not be a problem also... As long as they visit your site from time to time to gain the traffic you needed.

Besides that, humbledmarket, I tend to look at the threads with the least amount of posts first! If I see a thread that has more than a dozen responses, I usually don't read it because I know I'll be sucked it and want to read everyone's comments and I typically don't have that much time to spend on here. So my eyes go towards the less commented on posts...then I also figure I can maybe help out somehow or the OP came up with something no one has thought of and didn't know how to answer! |
