When adding graphics or images to your web pages always place your main keyword and LSI keywords between the Alt"" speechmarks in the HTML source code. The search engine spiders cannot see an image, so they rely on whatever is written here to define what it is. Therefore, this helps a lot with your SEO. Cheerz, Ray ![]() ps It doesn't matter if your keyword is relevant to the picture, because remember, the spideez can't see it! |

For bonus points: Make the image filename the same as your keyword (or similar)

Very well done. I agree with you. Learning SEO should be a more hands on experience than sitting in a class or a conference with so called gurus. I have always heard and read in this and other forums that we should NEVER take anything or everything literally.

To further enhance this tactic. You can add the title tag as well <img src="keywordfolder/keyword.jpg" title="keyword" alt="keyword"><br>keyword</a> Google loves this it has given you 5 opportunities to LEGALLY increase your keywords Do it with 3 images/page. Another trick you can do is create a white image and put it on your white background. I used this to push about me/home links etc further down the page where Humans cant see them. I have many sites in the top spot on google competing against 70million plus pages using this tactic. |

Hmm, not sure about that. The more you can build the topic of your page the better IMHO. So adding more topical relevance via: 1. Image name 2. Image Alt tag 3. Image title tag has to be a good thing, and you are not thinking about Google image search with your answer either. Quote:
