Free Bum Marketing Tool

I was looking for an excuse to do some programming with some Google stuff and came up with an online bum marketing tool. It's free, use it to see if any of various popular article directories rank for keywords you're interested in. I'm open to adding more directories and maybe even more features if anyone's interested.

Gave this one a shot - tried keywords in the credit/bankruptcy/foreclosure/debt and in dog/behavior/training/disease/heartworm/fleas niches - no results displayed for any of the directories. Was trying to use some common keywords to test the tool.

Yet I have seen some high ranked articles on several of the sites in those niches. Not sure the tool is working as intended.

It's working. Try "fat loss 4 idiots" (without quotes) and you'll see what I mean. Give me a list of keywords and I'll be happy to do some further analysis....

Could it be it works for product names but not for more general keyword?

stop foreclosure
avoid foreclosure
bankruptcy
dog training

Could be those are too broad?

All the tool does is grab the top 20 results for each keyword and see if any of them match the list of sites... Those keywords you listed don't have any of those article directories in the top 20, as they are pretty competitive. Try more long tail terms. The idea is to find keywords that have these directories or Web 2.0 sites in the top 20 (top 10 ideally), indicating the keywords are not ultracompetitive and you might be able to knock off one of the existing results with your own articles.
