I have been using PPC to promote diet and health related cpa offers. Everything was going ok for a month. I was receiving decent CTR and a number of impressions. Now I am getting no impressions for the campaign and other campaigns to the site. The site has everything required (privacy policy, 10 pages of content, affiliate disclosure page, etc). Other campaigns in the account are ok so my account is not screwed up. Just the campaigns pointing to a particular site are receiving no impressions. Can anyone explained what happened? |

I doubled the bid and still received no impressions. I then did direct linking from a separate URL and received some impressions.

seems to me that google decided they didn't like one of your promotions. They will ban an entire account for a promotion you could have run for only 1 day in the past, and the only way you will know it's a ban is to check your email (you can log on to your adwords account, and there is no alert informing you there is a problem). I've seen it happen to several people - their impressiosn drop to zero, but other then that they have no clue what's happening.. they dig around and find an email in a gmail account linked to their adwords account that they never even look at, and find an email from google saying their ppc account has been banned for life. And each time I have heard of this, the people in question had at some point been involved in promoting a cpa offer in the health niche. |

| very true a slim shady rebill offer in many cases, not saying this one is. anyway if your lucky they may have just for now slammed that campaign, if so delete it in full and hope the rest of your account will be fine.

thanks. all health campaigns deleted. so far my account seems unaffected. probably because i had a history before running this campaign. lesson learned. makes me wonder though whether ppc is a good long term strategy for cpa offers?
