How to create wide adsense ad like ezine and suite101

How do I create a wide adsense block (ad for content - text only ad) like shown in left sidebar in suite101 or right of article shown in ezine.

I could not find that size format in standard adsense formats.

Your website need to have a lot of traffic/adsense impression for that. Once you reach a certain level of traffic Google itself will grant you this privilege.

How many uniques are needed per day to be on par?

You may be waiting a long while...

A friend has over 3000 daily uniques on her blog, and G00gle would not offer her the non-standard adsense block. She keeps asking, and keeps waiting...

I think it has more to do with revenue than uniques. Not sure though because I'm not there yet. :P
