Google Hates Me!

I did everything right.

.Com domain name with the keyword in it. With hyphens between each of the three words.

Title tags with the keyword in it.

Meta description tag with the keyword in it.

Content with the right amount of keyword density.

Monthly competition is 7,180. 7,980 monthly (phrase) searches.

Yet the spiders haven't even indexed my site.

I don't think hyphens are good for SEO, but I could be wrong. Not that that has any reason why you haven't been indexed yet.

Make sure you submit your site to Google Webmaster Tools and verify it. Then ping your site at pingler.com.

All of your pages will be indexed shortly after that.

How old is this site?

Is it a WP install? Did you check if Privacy settings are set to index?

Yes I'm not sure if the hyphens help in ranking high but it shouldn't prevent you from being indexed.

Firstly ping your website with pingomatic.

Next submit your website to social bookmarking sites eg. digg and reddit

You can probably try to create a short youtube video with your url in the description

After a few days try generating a few backlinks. I doubt you will need to create tons of backlinks, probably just one or 2 since your competition is low.

Use google webmasters tool to see if your site is indexed

Lastly have patience. It took me 3 weeks for a low competition website to rank on page one in google.

Hi Calamaroo,

None of those things you mentioned in your post will get your website indexed.

You need to get a few links from web pages that are already indexed. The spiders will discover your website while crawling those links and follow them to your website.

Additionally you can create and submit a sitemap to your account on Google Webmaster Tools.

make sure you submit your rss feed to the rss directories.. if you dont have an rss feed create one at rss.icerocket.com and submit that...

I just had a campaign that has been fine for months get slapped the yesterday. What can you do? Practically nothing. Just keep trucking.

Do some work of people suggest above and wait to one or two week later, your site will be index.
You can submit article to marketing your site, this will help your site index and have better Page Rank. You should think your site is a new comer, it need time to appear on Google.

I'd be looking at it a bit more if it's not indexed in a week's time. It's not even been a week has it. I'd suggest a glass of wine and chill out. All good things take time.

Submit first to Google then put your site on your sig, participate here in WF forums and your site will get indexed in hours or less than a day.

Directory Submission, Article Submission and Social bookmarking can get new site indexed faster.

You will notice the one common idea behind all the suggestions.

Links to your site.

You do not say whether or not you have been building any back links.

If there are no links to your site it is going to take much longer to get indexed.

If your site is not important enough to have any links to it Google will not think it is important either. Build yourself some links.

getting tons of backlinks to your site, ping it or book marking it. Due to Google dance your site may drop a bit, after few days or weeks, you'll see the results.

whenever I have a baby site , here are the first few things I do to have indexed faster:

1. submit it to Digg, Reddit, YahooBuzz
2. create a blogspot account, once of the posts will have a link pointing to my site
3. register the blog on mybloglog (Google will have no choice but to index it)

Get a link from a site that is popular and frequently spidered by Google (could be a social site or any popular site) and you will be indexed.
