Website Valuation Tools.....Joke Right ?

We all know that Website Valuation tools are bit of of joke in terms of the way they value websites , normally worked out with a very much over exaggerated sum of money.But come on , we all use them right ?

Whether you like them or not id bet most webmasters have used one at least once to see what it comes out with ?

So whats you views on them and why, Personally im with the majority and think they are purely a bit of fun and could never take them seriously but there are some which offer other features too like the latest stats etc.

One of my forums has recently integrated a script for its users to use which again is a bit of fun but im interested to see what the educated masses say on the subject

Ah another interesting point, over the past 6 months there has been huge increases in people offering services which go around submitting sites to these valuation tools to get "cheap backlinks" , obviously with no anchor text and most likely will never get any type of authority , let alone page rank.

Not worth the time or effort some of these people actually put into the job

And believe me, there are so many sites like this.
I have seen a post from another forum where someone has suggested to use these sites for getting faster index in the search engines..
Don't know if it works that way...But one thing for sure....the value these sites shows is a total waste...I mean how can they come to a price for a website...what are the parameters to decide it?

I do not understand people selling hundreds of links coming from this kind of tools, but more than that, I do not understand as well those they buy this kind of links.
