Ezinearticles disregards Google Adsense TOS?

Anyone notice all the google adsense ads on Ezine@rticles? How do they get to break googles TOS? You are only allowed 3 ads per page. They have 8+ google ads per page. Anyone else notice this?

Knight (the owner) has a special arrangement with G regarding this, and is killing it in Adsense rev.

Which, BTW, is why G is placing a premium on EZA by placing it in the top 10 of nearly every major SERP. They're playing a little arbitrage game. Hopefully, it continues to last, because the traffic--not rankings--I get from EZA is fantastic. Right now, my article-to-URL CTR is approx 26%. Not too bad...

Anyway, if you are looking to do the same, just contact Adsense support to see if they can make an exception for ya if you're worried about it.

They are a Premier Publisher. Once you reach 20 million page views a month, you too can apply to be one.

I only see 3 google ads on Ezinearticles. Sure, they are freaking huge custom ads, but there's only three on every page I've seen. There are other sponsored results which I believe are affiliate links, but I don't see more than 3 ad blocks.

Yes, I noticed that too.

How about other article sites such as goarticles.com,articlebase.com, and articledashboard.com? Do they have more than 3 as well? If not, aren't they premium publishers then?

EZA is the biggest MFA site on the internet at the moment and they do it with the blessings of Google......the Google TOS only apply to MOST people........

I'm a late-comer to this thread, but thought I'd mention EZA is also apparently allowed to violate the "no competing ads" policy, as their two Chitika blocks look alot like their Adsense blocks.

Just one more example of one set of rules for rich big shots and another set for the rest of us.

But what sucks even more is that now, after the Panda update, EZA is rejecting articles - GOOD articles - if the landing page your link goes to has prominent Adsense. They say it looks "spammy". Talk about hypocrisy...

Well ezine only uses 3 ads as what Jacob says in his post. you might been seeing something similar like adsense but not ads from adsense so it is a bit confusing. they are just blended in same format so they look like same.

This thread was confusing me a little until I saw the date on the posts.

EZA has fallen hard. A lot of people were relying on "Bum Marketing" to make their income online. I'm wondering what most of these people are doing now.

They have a Premium Adsense account, so the setup is a little different than a standard Adsense publisher.

I barely use EZA anymore though. I can't believe some people still actually write unique articles and post them there. That's almost like peddling backwards.

That's because those people are still buying IM products (pdf, ect...) that promote that crazy idea of building content for sites they don't own (EZA).

You have to remember, thousands of new IMers start up every single day, thousands also drop out.

Reading outdated content can hurt, reading silly content (promote EZA with your own content) can hurt more...

EZA has a special partner account with Adsense. Its why they are able to customize the Adsenes to blend in so well with the content/site design.

Notice how under your Adsense settings you don't have the same functionality?
