How to get traffic from other countries also. As I have done SEO for some websites but all the traffic I m getting is from my local region. How do i get website traffic globally.... Suggest me....

Are we talking about search engine traffic? If so then the answer is to rank better for your keywords.

I am talking about visit traffic. Most of the visits on the site are from the location from where I've done the SEO. I want the visit traffic from other countries also. please help...

No offense, this response is hardly helpful because it ignores the question: how to get traffic from various reasons. There are many ways to get traffic, and not all of them are SEO-related. I will only touch on SEO here.

Google search is
1. geo-specific, because each search occurs within a regional Google (google.com for the US, google.ca, google.co.uk, google.co.in, google.ru etc., depending on the country), and the results across the regonal google are very different
2. geo-sensitive, because Google tries to return results that are most relevant to your location, based on your automatically detected IP address; for example, if you are in Korea and use Google.com, the results you get are skewed toward Korea

The way to improve your Google rankings across regions is to get quality links in those locations were you want to rank highly. Get quality rankings from all over the world and you will be golden.

You can sometimes contact local SEOs to get links from a specific region. For example, my company routinely provides links in the USA and in the UK, but if we had to develop, say, French or Portuguese links, we would need to conduct some special research or simply engage local Web hosting for some of our private domains (extra work), but you could contact French or Portuguese SEOs directly. In reality things can be a little more complicated, but this give you the general picture. I hope it helps!
