Default AdBrite?

Low CPC.... anyone using this?

So many things about adwords i dislike...i heard that some people have pretty god success using AdBite w/ CPC as low as $0.05 CPC...

Any other PPC alternatives out there worth looking into? (Besides the obvious like Yahoo etc..)
Just looking for alternatives providing more room/flexibility than adwords...too restrictive in MANY, MANY ways

Depending on what you are trying to sell, AdBrite may be worth a shot, especially as you can run a campaign across the network for 5c cpc.

Take a look at their "site directory" to find specific sites you want to advertise on. That's kind of similar to Adwords' "placement" advertising.

A lot of the sites also offer 'full page ads', kind of like a popup, often for less than 1c per visitor.

I often use it as a good (i.e. cheap!) source for split testing squeeze pages etc before moving the campaign to Adwords so that I know I'll start off with decent conversions.

I heard facebook is good too, but I have not used it myself so I can really say much about it

I made a small consistent profit off some campaigns on Adbrite in the past.

Unfortunately, after they upgraded their user interface the stats produced became unreliable. They frequently show numbers for #impressions and $cost which do not make sense, e.g. 10000 impressions @ $0.00.

They also seem to reset my bids to a different value. I do not know whether the bids are changed by Adbrite or the display is just showing the wrong numbers.

In the end, I have stopped using them.
